Fanal is the calendar for people who work shifts: rotating days and nights, 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, Pitman, Panama, continental rotas. Set your rotation once, the months ahead fill themselves in, and an alarm rings before every shift, at the time that goes with that shift.

AN ALARM THAT ACTUALLY RINGS

  • One alarm per kind of shift: early, late, night, each at its own time.
  • The alarm health check looks at sound, volume, Do not disturb, battery and notifications, and tells you in one line what would stop your alarm from ringing.
  • On Samsung and Xiaomi, a guide walks you screen by screen through the settings that silence alarms.
  • A test alarm in one tap, so you can sleep easy.
  • Fanal keeps track of every alarm: stopped, snoozed or never rang (phone off, app killed). If it did not ring, the home screen tells you.

YOUR SCHEDULE IN 30 SECONDS

  • Ready-made rotations: continental, 5 teams, 3 shifts weekly, 4 on 4 off, Pitman 2-2-3, 12/36, 24/48, 24/72.
  • Or your own cycle, day by day, up to 16 weeks.
  • No fixed rotation (temp work, cover shifts)? Enter your days one by one or a whole week of assignments at once, with your own shifts and an alarm for each. When your days run out, your phone tells you.
  • Leave and changed days in two taps, without breaking the cycle. A second job on your days off gets its own alarms.
  • Notes and public holidays: US, France (with Alsace-Moselle), Germany (by state), Spain, Portugal, Brazil.
  • Import a calendar (.ics): Fanal recognizes your rotation and your leave, even when your shifts are only letters on all-day events.

NOTHING TO LOSE WHEN YOU CHANGE PHONES

  • No account. Your schedule stays on your phone.
  • Automatic backup by Android, under your own Google account, and your schedule comes back when you reinstall.
